Although not actually with the boundaries of the community of Strathcona, la escuela is nearby at 9735 - 80 Avenue in the community of Ritchie, just south of Strathcona. It is included here because of its unique programming: it is the first of 2 schools in Canada (the other is in Calgary) to offer a Spanish bilingual program at the elementary level.
